Cheoma Stool, 2020

Cheoma Stool is manifested from the repetitive and symmetrical aesthetics that appear at the eaves end of Hanok, a traditional Korean house. The affordance of the curved metal plates correspond to the way in which the object can be used. It is made from a piece of aluminium sheet, laser cut, TIG welded, and powder coated. The use of powder-coated aluminium allows a surprisingly beautiful color combination and a variety of configurations.
