Perennial Blossom, 2022

Perennial Blossom is a series of functional objects that have arisen through the investigation of contemporary lifestyle patterns between public and private.

The global level of the pandemic is transforming our reality: public and private are fused, the outside warps into the inside, and digital take over the physical realm.

What if the wilderness of nature merges into the domestic landscape?

Pyeori Jung (NL/KR) introduces a series of furniture that shows the potentiality of mixing private and public terrain by implying, breaking, and literally hybridizing the functionality of the objects. His objects perform as a mirrored image of human fantasy and disturb our predetermined perception of the marginal border between organic (nature) and biologic (human) matters.
